New Patient Onboarding
Welcome to Frederick Cannabis Doctor, your trusted partner in medical cannabis care.
Welcome to our medical cannabis consultation practice. We’re here to make the registration and certification process as straightforward as possible for new patients in Maryland. Before scheduling your consultation, all new patients must complete the required state registration steps and intake paperwork.
What to Have Ready for Your Appointment
Please complete the required new patient forms before you schedule your appointment. This information is essential for certification eligibility.
Please make sure your P-ID number is correct at the time of scheduling. The system does not allow us to perform a name search.
Please do not have others with you for your consultation unless in the case of a caregiver.
What to Expect
In-Office Consultation:
You will meet with Dr. Kee at our Frederick office location to discuss your qualifying medical condition(s) and treatment goals. Appointments typically last 20–30 minutes. If, upon evaluation, you meet eligibility requirements, a medical cannabis certification may be issued, allowing for immediate purchase of medical cannabis products at licensed Maryland dispensaries.Virtual Consultation:
Please be available for a phone call from our office at your scheduled appointment time. Once we confirm you are in a safe, stationary location and ready to proceed, we will begin your consultation via Zoom or FaceTime. After the consultation, you will receive an email asking you to review and confirm your information. If a certification is issued, a copy will be provided electronically after we receive your confirmation response.
Terms & Conditions:
Certifications issued through our office may be used at any licensed Maryland medical dispensary. A certification functions similarly to a prescription authorization and may remain valid for up to 365 days, subject to ongoing eligibility requirements and provider discretion.
Consultation fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered. If you believe there is a billing error or concern, please contact our office directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we may attempt to resolve the matter. Because the Maryland Medical Cannabis program requires a bona fide patient-provider relationship and a valid annual consultation for certification issuance and maintenance, disputes or actions that invalidate or terminate those requirements may result in suspension, non-issuance, or revocation of certification eligibility, where permitted and applicable.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. For security and fraud prevention purposes, payment cards must belong to the patient or authorized payor. We do not accept payment methods presented under another individual’s name without prior authorization.
